As for the step itself, it is as close to perfect as any sports equipment I have ever used. I bought a few other steps that I saw at the local store. They were about $50 and each broke after about a year, which is not a fun experience in the middle of working out. So I decided to get the one that was actually in the Step Reebok video. It cost me about $90 at the time I got it four years ago and I have not had a single problem with it. I am going to buy another one just in case they stop making this step platform. <br />It is simple to use, to adjust and one very important thing about the surface. It has great traction, even when a person sweats on it it does not get slippier. The traction is still great and I have never felt safer with any other step platform, even the ones at the gym, than I have with this one. Spend the extra money, it is worth it.
