Rx Nutrition is a great product. I learned many new things about nutrition that I’ve never heard before. The DVD provides instruction on when to eat, how much to eat, and the proper combination of foods (carbs, protein, fat).
The DVD also provides valuable information on how to properly fuel your body for exercise. Food for exercise is in addition to your normal food! The DVD gives recipes and advice for the types of food to consume before, during and after exercise.
I highly recommend this product for anyone who struggles with weight and/or the athlete who want to optimize their athletic performance.

If you’re looking for a DVD set that puts years of knowledge in 3 quick, easy to understand DVD’s, this is it. The information is fast paced and simply put.

It’s easy to see after watching it why so many people quit eating “healthy” (or should I say, what they THINK is healthy) so quickly. There may be just a few details they are leaving out, with disastrous results! Rx Nutrition is a road map to figuring out what you may be leaving out as well. There’s no room for guesswork, as Dr. Kattouf lays everything out for you in detail. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to follow along, but you gain a wealth of knowledge easily. Personally, I was so frustrated with the fact that I am very active, and thought I ate pretty healthy, and couldn’t lose those last few stubborn pounds.
After just 2 weeks on the program, I lost bodyfat! I have also now run my first 10K, and I have more energy than ever before! I’m a mom of two, and own my own business, if I can work the prescribed changes from Rx Nutrition into my hectic schedule, anyone can! It is so worth it. Thank you Rx Nutrition!

The DVDs are awesome! I am a multisport athlete and I used to do a fairly nice job about my diet – at least that’s what I thought until my wife and I watched this DVD. We learned so much from it!! So many misconceptions were clarified by Rick! We would think that eating protein for one meal made up for eating carbs the next meal of the day etc. This is eye opening. I am sure we are going to benefit immensely from this DVD. We learned what to eat, how to eat, when to eat for proper nutrition for sport and fitness. Even simple things as how much water to consume etc. was clarified by Rick. I can see how this is going to change my life for better health and fitness!
If you are a multisport athlete, this DVD set is a must have! Rick teaches easy ways to consume proper calories for races. This DVD is not just for triathletes or multi sport athletes though – It will help anybody who wants to stay healthy and loose weight.
Well worth every penny!

My family and I were fortunate to meet Rick while preparing for a triathlon race last year. We had several discussions over a couple days on the topics of nutrition, fitness/triathlon training and exactly which measurements are important to assess a person’s fitness and health. Rick’s perspective on nutrition and fitness, in many respects, is opposite of the ever-changing “conventional wisdom”. This DVD set captures in detail the principles that Rick introduced us to in 2009.
As an age-group triathlete in my 40′s, I had watched my weight gradually increase each year and at the same time my muscle mass was decreasing. The first DVD immediately hit on many of the reasons I was trending in the wrong direction: working out on an empty stomach, binge eating at night, saving calories, etc… The second dvd clearly demonstrated that “eating healthy” and “eating correctly” are not the same thing. This dvd also introduces body fat% and body water% as key fitness measurements in place of body weight. Finally, in the third dvd, he laid out the proper methods to fuel before, during and after training. I have already started to put Rick’s methods into practice for the 2010 Triathlon season, and I am happy to say I am now trending in the right direction.
