I have been comparing these type of machines to establish some customer service before purchase – and its been over 13 days and Wider has not responded back to any thing that i requested – Warranty on parts / parts replacement / when they will have some in stock on the web site – Absoutley NOTHING back – if you can’t back up your product, why should we buy it – I am considering other products that cost more, but have customers in mind!!!!!

Well I’m happy that the product showed up about a week earlier that planned, but I thought I read somewhere that a signature was required when delivered. I came home from running errands to find it sitting on my front door. I’m glad no one decided to steal it b/c I probably would never know until the middle of March. I will post more after I acutally get it set up. I’m eager to work out.

Ok so I’ve been working out for weeks now & I really love my machine. Its very easy to use & I’ve had no problems with it even though I’m over the max weight limit. I feel myself becoming stronger. My fiance is even using it & loves that we can do so many workouts on it. I would recommend it to anyone. The price is great for the product you receive. The only other negative that I have is that my seat had small tear in it when I received it. I honestly think that came from UPS’s delivery. I’m sure I could’ve sent it back for a new one, but I haven’t had any problems with the tear getting any bigger so I’m fine with it.

I wrote a review for the other product called Total Body Works 5000 and now I’m writing one for this product. Here is why. I originaly ordered the other Total Body Works 5000, because it had better reviews and was less expensive. When the box came it turned out to be this Weider Total Body Works 5000. The picture on the box showed the model without the Weider logo on the seat, but inside was the exact model shown here. There was no booklets or paper work in the box at all so I had to contact the Weider Co. In doing so, I found out that I could have ordered directly from them and it would have been much less expensive. I do like the machine and it’s versitility, but am surprised that I did not get the best price available.

I ended up getting a gym membership, this machine is to limited. Its now in a closet, and it takes to much room when its full extended. Its a nice concept though, it just doesn’t work that great in reality.

I bought this as a birthday present for my fiance. I set it up and the first thing that I noticed is how heavy and bulky the system is. Also, the slide does not go up and cannot be moved. I am returning it and never buying another weider product again. Utter waste of money. The manual does not help and the people when you call up weider have no clue how to help either.
