  2. I got this Treadmill because of the price. My Weight 246. Live in Florida

Once I got everything together it worked great!! After about three weeks this treadmill started to creak.

    Really BAD!!

What I found: the board under the belt had expanded and evertime I steped a very loud creak.

What I did: I removed the stick on trim creaking side (Mine right side) I used a skill saw to trim the board so it would not rub on the side frame.

Now, no creaks, works great, Love this treadmill..

this is the way treadmills should be. no motors to help you. your’re the motor. great reststance like walking in sand uphill. very sturdy.

  4. For the money this is a great treadmill. Well made. I prefer the manual treadmill cause you go at your own speed and you are using your body to do it. It has an uphill climb that really gives you a workout. The digital display is great…I am very happy with this purchase…

  5. I’ve only had the CardioStride Plus for about a week, but it is reasonably well made and gives you a really good workout. I’m trying to loose a few pounds, so I like to briskly walk for 1.5 miles in the morning and then while watching a movies. I’m using this treadmill to test my diligence to exercise on a treadmill. So far it has surpassed my expectation and maybe I’ll keep this one for longer than expected. It definitely works you out more than a motorized treadmill since you are doing all the work.

Pros: Inexpensive, compact/light, simple, great workout for walking, easy set-up.

Cons: The bed creaks a bit while walking, so I have to turn up audio system pretty loud. The belt takes some adjusting to get and keep it centered and I find that when I move the treadmill, the belt often has to be re-centered. This is probably due to the very simple centering system and the fact that minor level changes in the floor will impact belt centering. You also need to keep your hands on the handles which will make reading somewhat difficult.
